Ocian of Ocian Sound
I am an Expanded States Guide, walking the path of remembrance—of how to listen, how to heal, how to be in right relationship with the seen and unseen. My work is a weaving of breath, sound, ritual, and deep presence, creating doorways into the liminal, where healing unfolds in its own language.
For over a decade, I have apprenticed myself to the wisdom of expanded states, learning from sound, breath, and the intelligence of the body. I have sat in ceremony with plant medicines in Shipibo and other Indigenous traditions, honoring their teachings as sacred guides. Rooted in animism and the ceremonial ways of Celtic, Andean, and Hawaiian lineages, I hold spaces where spirit and science, the ancient and the now, meet in deep conversation.
Currently pursuing the Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Graduate Certificate at Vancouver Island University, I am devoted to creating trauma-aware, reverent spaces for seekers, healers, and those in transition—those who hear the call to remember.
My work is an offering to the collective healing that is already underway—a prayer for the earth, for the ancestors, for all of us finding our way home.
This is indeed a journey of listening for Ocian, as she becomes re-acquainted with this Ancient Harmonic Language and moves deeper into Self-Mastery and SoundSeed Medicine.
"In many cultures throughout time, it is common practice to use sound as medicine. Sound gives each person the opportunity to empower themselves and participate in their own self-healing process... The key is remembering we are made of sound."
"Everything in the universe is energy. All energy is movement, all movement is vibration and all vibration is sound. Like a tuning fork for a piano, Sound Medicine will restore the body to its optimum attunement." -Edgar Cayce
